Privacy policy

This page covers what we collect on lamplight.us.org and what we do with it. There is not much of either.

The short version

• We do not sell or rent personal information.
• The site has no accounts, no cart and no checkout, so there is nothing for you to fill in.
• We look at aggregate traffic only: which pages get read, how fast they load.
• Once you click through to the retailer, their privacy policy governs, not ours.

What you give us

Only what is in an email you choose to send. We use your message and your address to reply to you and for nothing else, and we do not put you on a mailing list.

What is collected automatically

We use lightweight analytics to see which pages are being read and how the site performs. It is aggregated. It tells us the parts chart gets more traffic than the value guide; it does not tell us who you are.

Cookies

We keep these to what the site needs to work and to that aggregate measurement. Your browser can block or clear them whenever you like and the pages will still work.

When you leave for the retailer

Our buy links hand you off to a third-party store. From that moment their policy and their cookies apply. We do not control how they operate, so read theirs as well if it matters to you.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
